Privacy Policy

Effective 26 October 2026

Vaiṣṇava Calendar for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch does not collect, share or store anywhere else any information about you.

What the app does not do

• no sign-up and no accounts;
• it never asks for your name, email, phone number or anything else about you;
• no advertising and no ad networks;
• no analytics and no tracking;
• nothing is shared with third parties — there is nothing to share;
• it has no servers of its own and does not go online.

Location

If you tap “Find my location”, the app asks once for permission to use your location and finds the nearest city in its built-in database, on the device itself. The coordinates are not sent anywhere. You can skip this and pick a city from the list or enter your own coordinates.

What is stored on your device

Your chosen place, calculation and reminder settings, your own events (“My events”) and the “Done” marks on sandhyās. They are kept only on your iPhone and are passed to your Apple Watch directly by the system so that the watch shows the same day. Everything is removed together with the app.

Notifications and timers

Reminders and sandhyā timers are created on the device itself. The app has no push servers.

Export

The .ics calendar, text and PDF are created on the device and go only where you send them yourself from the Share menu.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data about anyone, children included. Age rating: 4+.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
